    Fabulous

Every room has its own bathroom. Cleaners come every day. I had comfortable mattress. What else you can ask of a hostel?

It is a hostel- old and cheap and shabby. It does not have very nice kitchen and lounge. Windows haven't been washed for so long you can't see through them. But it is about budget- isn't it?

    Superb

Location was great, right in the city and close to public transport. Staff were friendly, room was clean and all I needed. If you need a place to stay when in Sydney for a gig then this is the place. If you want a five star hotel, then book one elsewhere cause this ain't it.

    Fabulous

Great location within walking distance of main city attractions. You get what you pay for and we had a family room for five at 140 Aus Dollars per night with en-suite bathroom. If you just want a place to sleep, as we did, this is ideal. Probably best suited to young people on a budget. Staff there were very helpful and found a mobile phone that we had left behind..

Being in the city centre it was quite noisy even at night - not recommended if you are a light sleeper. 12 floors and only one lift working so it was quite a wait at times for the lift to arrive.

    Very good

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although we couldn't check in until 2pm, we were welcome to use the communal facilities, and to store our bags for the day after we checked out.

Announcement over the public address system reminding people about the party bus at 9:30pm was a bit annoying. The lifts were incredibly slow, and one of them was out of service most of the time. The baggage room was down 2 flights of stairs.

    Location

Must be the only double room accomodation in Australia that does not have tv, or Coffee making facilities, or small fridge,or soap or shampoo or towels. Bed was completely unusable. One of us tried to sleep on the floor and the other tried to sleep curled up ,diagonally at an angle as the bed had too many crevices and craters and the one side of bed was several centimetres lower than the other, so it was not possible for the 2nd person to stay on the bed. The disgusting non stop stench of fresh paint was completely overwhelming . Absolute waste of money. Totally disgusted. Came close to walking out but didn't have more money for another hotel that had a usuable bed.

    Fabulous

Very easy to meet people if your travelling alone. Great entertainment manager who took you out ever day on activities like bbqs at the beach and nights out. If your looking for entertainment, this is the place to be. There is also a travel desk at reception and all the staff were very friendly.

its very hot on level one and needs new air conditioning. When i came here before there was also a poole table and we could do with one again, it added to the night and everyone got involved.

centrally located and walk to all transit locations

small room, very old carpet, needs a face-lift

The room was quite small, but alright for the price. The bedding was dirty looking, the air conditioning was noisy and the one from the upper level kept dripping water on ours, so we had a very noisy air conditioning even when not on. Bathroom was dirty.

I wish there was anything i liked about it.

Without exaggeration: It was the most run-down, filthy, smelly and uncomfortable place i have ever stayed at.

    Fabulous

Handy to Central Station, welcoming efficient staff

No fresh top sheet on beds - just a cover that looked well used.

Noisy, poor water pressure ,hot ,poor soundproofing ,heard swearing all night ,someone banged on door during night ,worst accommodation I have ever stayed in.grotty. Close to station but had to have window open and listen to drunk people swearing singing and yelling.

    Good

Close to capital theatre and haymarket. Short walk to Pitt St Mall. Cheap for family room

1 lift was broken, and the other took too long. The second one broke down on our second night and we had to climb 9 flights of stairs in heels. Family room was pretty good for 5 people. Bathroom was simple, but had blood on the shower curtain and shower pressure sucked.

    Fabulous

    Good location Budget Helpfull staff

Lift old, you have to wait for more than 10 minutes. Drunk youngster made horrible noise at night

    Exceptional

    Clean and nice smell

Elevator took too slow. It would be nice if more elevators are installed or staff encourage people living on 1st-3rd floor to walk the stairs. (Also, need to inform people where the stairs are located)
